Sudoku
Classic sudoku in your browser: four difficulty levels, notes, hints and undo. Every puzzle has a single solution you can reach without guessing.
Fill the 9×9 grid with digits 1 to 9 so that every row, every column and every 3×3 box contains each digit exactly once.
Puzzles are generated on the fly and graded the way a person solves them: easy ones only need squares with a single possible digit, medium also the only place for a digit, hard ones pairs and locked candidates, and expert even more. Each has exactly one solution.
You get candidate notes (cleared automatically when you place a digit), highlighting of matching digits, mistake marking, undo and hints. Your game in progress and statistics with best times are saved in the browser, and the game runs on phones and computers with nothing to install.
How to play
- Tap a square, then a digit on the keypad below the grid. On a computer type digits and move with the arrow keys.
- The Notes button (or the N key) switches to pencilling in small candidates; Erase (Backspace) clears a square.
- Undo takes back the last move, and Hint fills the correct digit into the selected square.
